What Cool Cat Games provides
Cool Cat Games supplies the software used to run venue game nights.
Game software
Guest phone play, venue TV displays, host controls, winner tools, and supported game formats.
Venue workflow
Tools for staff to run recurring events, manage game flow, and present the shared experience on venue screens.
Not a music license
A Cool Cat Games subscription does not itself grant public performance rights for copyrighted music or other third-party content.
When music licensing may matter
Licensing questions are most relevant when a venue uses copyrighted music as part of a game or event.
Music Bingo
Music Bingo may involve public playback of copyrighted music. Venues should confirm that their existing licenses and music source cover the way music is used during the event.
Other game formats
Bingo, Bar Poker, and Squares do not inherently require music playback. If a venue separately uses copyrighted music during those events, normal venue licensing obligations may still apply.
Venue responsibilities
Each venue is responsible for confirming the licenses and rights appropriate to its location, event, and content choices.
Public-performance coverage
Confirm whether your venue's public-performance licenses cover the music used during your events.
Commercial music source
Do not assume that a personal consumer streaming subscription authorizes commercial public playback in a venue.
